Henkel have constructed their new Asia-Pacific and China Headquarters in Pudong, Shanghai’s booming
financial centre on the east bank of the Huangpu River.
The five-storey building was constructed according to
Henkel KG’s requirements for sustainability. Low energy use was attained by adhering to
European norms and constructing strictly according to European standards. The
asymmetrically-curved U-shaped building houses offices, laboratories and a
generous entrance atrium with a training centre at the front.
