Opening of the new BayArena
HPP Architects’ design for improvement of Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s grounds
The new BayArena will be formally opened with a press conference this Thursday after only 17 months construction time. Dusseldorf architects HPP Hentrich-Petschnigg & Partner designed the improvements to Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s grounds. The main focus of the work was on improving and extending the team rooms and providing a physiotherapy and rehabilitation area. A new hospitality zone was built, the press area was re-structured, capacity at the arena was extended and a new stadium roof was added.
