Feldmeyer was born in 1956 in Aalen. He studied architecture at the university in Stuttgart and the London South Bank University. In the 1980s he worked in the office of Kikutake Architect & Associates in Tokyo and in the office of Ger-
kan, Marg und Partner in Hamburg. He has been at HPP since 1989, where
he began by heading the Hamburg and Berlin offices. Since 2002 Feldmeyer has been a member of HPP’s general management.
Feldmeyer occupied a teaching position in the faculty of architecture at Nippon University in Tokyo, regularly gives guest lectures, and has published books
and magazine articles. Among his more important publications are The New German Architecture (Rizzoli-Verlag, New York) and HPP Hentrich-Petschnigg & Partner 1988–1998 (Rizzoli-Verlag, New York). Feldmeyer is a member of the BDA and the Chamber of Architects in North Rhine-Westphalia.
