Located in an old park, the Order of St. John’s new headquarters nestle gently into their surroundings. Green concrete blocks, oak, and ochre-colored clay slabs create a perceptible relationship to the natural surroundings. The playfully arranged window formats are effectively juxtaposed with the clear, stone grid of the façade. The appearance of the building’s exterior appropriately communi-
cates the guiding principle of the Order’s discipline and uprightness.
