This architectural trademark of Bonn was built by Egon Eiermann in 1969. After the German parliament moved to Berlin, the landmark-protected building was equipped with a new fire protection system and was brought up to modern standards in terms of aspects of its physical construction, technology, and energy use. All necessary changes were executed according to landmark pro-tection requirements, and after its revitalization, the high-rise was in complete accord with Eiermann’s original ideas.
