This seven-story building within Berlin’s parliamentary and governmental dis-
trict is divided into a comb-like structure and a building in behind with two step-
ped floors. Providing access to the building via a landscaped courtyard allows for a flexible division of the structure into multiple rental areas measuring up to 150 square meters. The story-high glass winter windows make open window ventilation on the side of the building that is exposed to high noise levels pos-
sible. This in turn allows for the flexible arrangement of office functions throughout the building.
