Known as the „blaues Haus“, this Counselling and Therapy Centre is an exten-
sion of the Vocational Training Unit in Saxony. The canopy offers a welcome and at the same time marks the entrance while the band of windows that runs around the building marks the horizontal structure. The common rooms are on the first floor, where the fully-glazed facade drops back creating attractive ter-
races. The floating roof takes up the horizontal theme once again and finishes the building off with an emblematic flourish.
