The new HPP website was launched in 2019 and awarded the prestigious European Property Award 2020/2021 last week in the category "Architect Website Germany".

Among a total of 420 competition entries from architects, planners and students, timber hybrid office building ‘The Cradle’ was able to succeed and to take the special award for best BIM project. 

Start-up Area im Baugebiet A der Huairou Science City in Peking

With its design for the startup area in construction site A of Huairou Science City in Beijing, HPP won through against 33 participants from 10 countries to take first prize in the competition.

On 2 November 2020 work commences on the first phase of refurbishment of the protected Town Hall in Marl. The two cantilevered high-rise blocks and the central building are to undergo energy optimisation, modernisation of building installations and conversion to a “civic town hall” in line with plans by HPP as general planner and commissioned by the city of Marl.

In the competition run by Stadtwerke Münster GmbH for construction of the future civic town hall, HPP has taken second place among a top-class field of 17 participant firms.

On the Asian side of Istanbul on a former industrial site, the master planning and architecture of HPP has enabled the creation of an innovative urban residential complex comprising four towers and three perimeter blocks.

The RWE campus in Essen, designed by HPP for the client Lang & Cie, represents the restructuring of the group with its contemporary work worlds and visualises the transformation on the site. The recent photographic documentation of the completed first phase gives an insight into the project.

The exhibition “Ms Architect. Over 100 years of Women in Architecture” organised by Baukultur Nordrhein-Westfalen, illustrates the architectural approach adopted by HPP partner Claudia Roggenkämper based on the renovation of the Dreischeibenhaus high-rise in Düsseldorf.

A new mixed-use building comprising offices and gastronomy, designed by HPP and commissioned by Hamburg-based MOMENI Group, is to be created on the Karl-Arnold-Platz right beside Dusseldorf’s northern artery Kennedydamm.

HPP partner Antonino Vultaggio was one of the main speakers at the ‘Build in Wood’ in Copenhagen on 25.08.2020, introducing the pioneering wood hybrid project The Cradle, Circular Thinking and talking about the challenges of building in wood.
