Already today, the area serves as a hub for offices and services. With IQON, a new excellence cluster for future technologies is taking shape. The two buildings, IQON Central and IQON West, located approximately 300 metres apart, form an ensemble that is connected both in architectural expression and internal organisation. IQON Central is conceived as a cross-shaped structure with four staggered wings and a central joint, which serves as a communicative hub and main entrance, offering visual connection to the gatehouses. IQON West follows an L-shaped layout, featuring workshops and large-scale glazing facing the research open space – innovation becomes visible and tangible. Here too, a joint marks the entrance and central communication zone. Together, the two buildings create a connected campus that builds upon and evolves the existing structures.
