It is of central importance to HPP that your privacy is protected while using this website. In the following privacy policy, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and other national data protection legislation of the Member States, we wish to inform you about which personal data is collected whilst using our website and how we will process, use, and protect this data.

1  Scope

1.1 The following privacy policy applies to the use of the www.hpp.com website. This website is provided by HPP Architekten GmbH, Zollhof 26, 40221 Düsseldorf.

1.2. We are committed to protecting your personal data, and in particular, to protecting your personal rights whilst processing and using such information. Personal data refers to any information concerning the personal or circumstantial situation of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, email address or phone number and user data such as your IP address. Your data will be collected, processed, and used in accordance with data protection legislation.

2. Automated data collection and processing by the browser

2.1 As with all internet sites, our server automatically collects and stores the following data temporarily in the server log files, which are transmitted by the browser, unless you have deactivated this feature:

-        IP address of the inquiring computer

-        visitor file request

-        http response code

-        the website from which you visited us (referrer URL)

-        date and time of the server query

-        browser type, version and language

-        operating system used by the requesting computer

We will not make a personal evaluation of the server log files. This data cannot be used to identify an individual. This data will not be combined with data from other sources.

2.2 On our website we use the open source software tool Matomo (formerly PIWIK) to analyse the surfing behaviour of our users. The software sets a cookie on users’ computers (for more information on cookies see above). When individual pages of our website are visited the following data is stored:

-      Two bytes of the IP address of the system of the user accessing the site

-      The web page visited

-      The website via which the user reached the web page accessed (referrer)

-      The sub-pages called up on the website visited 

-      The amount of time spent on the website 

-      The frequency with which the website is accessed 

The software runs exclusively on the servers of our website. Personal data of the users is stored only there. The data is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for our recording purposes. 

Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted from there to our site. Therefore you as the user also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings of your Internet browser you can deactivate or restrict the transfer of cookies. Cookies already saved can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies for our website are deactivated, you may no longer be able to make full use of all the functions of our website.

3. Collection and processing of data submitted voluntarily

3.1 If you share personal data with us by email or via www.hpp.com, this is generally done on a voluntary basis. This data will only be used to deal with your enquiry, to send you our newsletters or press information. Personal data is not collected unless you have given us your express consent.

3.2 If you want to contact us via the contact form, we need your title, your name, your country of origin and your email address. To facilitate contact, you may supply additional personal information voluntarily. 

If you want to subscribe to our newsletter, we need a valid email address, your country of origin and the following consent from you:

"I consent to HPP Architekten GmbH and its subsidiaries processing the data supplied by me in order to contact me by email, telephone, newsletter etc. and to keep me informed of news and events related to HPP companies.

I can withdraw this consent at any time with immediate effect for the future, in writing to HPP Architekten GmbH, Zollhof 26, 40221 Düsseldorf, or by email to pr@hpp.com.

Withdrawal of Consent. In this case, all data supplied by me will be deleted by all of the named companies and will no longer be used to send the newsletter.

3.3 Personal data, communicated to us via our website will only be stored until the purpose for which you entrusted it to us has been fulfilled. Once the contracted purpose has been completed, your data will be blocked and at the expiration of holding periods required by tax and commercial legislation, deleted unless you have expressly agreed to your data being used beyond such periods. Where required by commercial and tax legislation, certain data may be stored for up to 10 years.

4. Disclosure to third parties

If you have communicated personal data to us, this will not be passed on to third parties. Data will only be passed on if

-        as part of the processing of your requests, your orders and your use of our services, we use subcontractors who receive the required data only for the purposes of processing of the contract and whose use thereof is strictly limited,

HPP, as content provider for our own content, provided online, is responsible under the general laws. Cross-references (links) to content provided by others does not constitute our own content. External content is not generated by HPP and HPP has no influence over such third-party content. The content of external sites, accessed via links on the HPP website does not reflect the opinion of HPP Architekten GmbH. The links serve the sole purpose of providing information and indicating a relationship.

6. Cookies

We use cookies on our hpp.com website in order to understand your preferences, and to be able to tailor our operations to your needs, likes and dislikes. Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your computer or mobile equipment and let you know when you revisit. Cookies do not contain personal data. This data will not be combined with other data sources.

When accessing our website users are informed that cookies are used for analysis purposes and their consent is obtained to the processing of the personal data used in this connection. At the same time reference is also made to this data protection statement.

You have the right to receive information about personal data stored by us, its origin, recipients or categories of recipients with whom this data is shared and the purpose of storage, at any time and free of charge.

You also have the right, in accordance with legal provisions to correct, block and delete your personal data. If you have given consent for the use of data, you may revoke it at any time.
