The new office building with around 12,500 square metres is located in the city centre at Oststraße 34, completion is planned for 2027. Klaus Küppers, head of Pandion's NRW branch explains "HPP's design gives the project an independent, representative identity, while at the same time blending very harmoniously into the public space. Particularly noteworthy is the landscaped inner courtyard, which will provide real added value and a quiet retreat for future tenants." Users enter the new building via a two-storey, glass cut-out that leads into the foyer. The five upper floors contain offices with flexible floor plans, from individual offices to open-space areas. The inner courtyard is a workspace in the greenery and offers a place of retreat; in addition, the greenery extends up to the roof areas. The office building will have the lowest possible carbon footprint through contemporary technological solutions: in addition to the green roof, photovoltaic systems will be used and other aspects of the circular economy will be taken into account in the planning and execution. The aim is to achieve DGNB certification in gold, ESG verification and Wired Score certification in platinum for the new Pandion Officehome.
