HPP is the first architectural office to become a member of the "Network C2C Regions"

Our built environment offers great potential for Cradle to Cradle® approaches. Not only the C2C NGO believes in this, but also HPP Architekten, which became the first architectural office to join "Network C2C Regions" in November 2020.

C2C NGO Berlin connects business, science, education, politics and civil society and carries the idea of Cradle-to-Cradle® into the world. The "Network C2C Regions" was initiated by C2C NGO to familiarise cities and municipalities with circular economy and to create incentives to plan municipal projects according to Cradle to Cradle®. Regions that already implement these approaches are livable and resilient. The network as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking is primarily aimed at cities, municipalities, companies, research institutes as well as organizations and is intended to contribute to sustainable transformation. Stakeholders are to share their experiences here, find allies and form strong clusters of expertise. As the first architectural office in the network, HPP would like to actively shape the sustainable transformation, share its own experiences from Cradle-to-Cradle® planning and foster dialogue in the industry as well as with cities and municipalities. Advancing holistic circular thinking and minimising dependence on raw materials is HPP’s approach currently already actively lived in the pilot project The Cradle, Düsseldorf's first timber hybrid office building based on the Cradle-to-Cradle® principle.
