The traditional ceremony was attended by District Mayor Volker Spelthann, District Mayor Cornelia Weitekamp, partner companies and buyers of the residential units. Klaus Küppers, Managing Director of PANDION Real Estate GmbH, and Matthias Faber, Senior Partner of HPP Architekten GmbH, gave a short opening speech.
On the approximately 16,000 m² site, 164 residential units are being built in two construction phases. These will be complemented by a four-storey daycare centre and around 70 publicly subsidized apartments built by Sahle Wohnen.
