The L'Oréal Deutschland Headquarters in Düsseldorf, realized according to plans by HPP on behalf of die developer, was awarded the internationally renowned iF DESIGN AWARD 2020 in the Offices / Workspaces category for its interior design.

Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. This year, the 78-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, had to select the winners out of 7,298 entries from 56 countries. The 60 metre-high office building is the new, clearly visible gateway to the north of Düsseldorf and convinced the jury with the values of transparency, innovation and sustainability that the building reflects both internally and externally. The new working environments provide in addition to the open-space areas with a total of 1,000 fixed workstations, another 890 flexible work options: These include a variety of smaller think tanks, meeting rooms, phone booths and a silent room. Employees are left to decide whether they prefer to work sitting or standing, communicate in a team or use one of the many retreat options to pursue a task undisturbed.

The L'Oréal headquarters will be presented together with the further award winners in the iF World Design Guide and will also be exhibited at the iF Design Exhibition from May 2-10 in Berlin.
