Together with the client, the University Hospital Düsseldorf AöR, the construction companies involved and numerous project supporters, the HPP Architekten project team celebrated this important construction milestone. In his speech, Dr. Stephan Keller, Lord Mayor of the City of Düsseldorf, acknowledged the commitment of all those involved in the project and expressed his thanks.
The Trube-Becker House is due to be completed and put into operation in the course of the coming year. Unusually, the building is being financed exclusively by donations. The future center for the interprofessional care of people affected by violence combines the Forensic Outpatient Clinic for Victims of Violence of the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the UKD, the Social Pediatric Center (SPZ) of the UKD Children's Hospital and the Childhood House Düsseldorf under one roof - in a building ensemble consisting of four adjoining buildings.
