This year, 106 projects from over 18 countries were shortlisted for the WIN Awards, which were organised by World Interior News for the 14th time in a row.
The AIA Grand Theatre, a major new cultural building in the middle of the ‘Northern Bund’ area on the Huangpu River, was completed at the end of 2023. The theatre offers space for up to 1,700 people in a three-storey concert hall. An interior design highlight is the foyer with its striped wall elements over three floors, which are reminiscent of the growth structures of a shell.
