First prize for New Cologne Justice Center
An identity-creating urban component for the justice is being created in Cologne. After winning first prize in the urban design competition for the new Cologne Justice Centre back in 2022, the design of HPP Architects also impressed the jury in the structural engineering and landscape planning implementation competition - and was awarded first prize.

Jan-Claas Hake has been managing director of +grün Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH since April 2024. HPP had already integrated the landscape architecture office into the HPP company structure at the beginning of this year, following a conscious decision to work more closely with architecture and landscape architecture.

Office building "grasblau" realised in Berlin
Surrounded by greenery and yet in an inner-city location: the six-storey "grasblau" office building in Berlin-Kreuzberg, for which HPP designed and realised the architecture on behalf of CA Immo, which specialises in high-quality office properties.
HPP among the top 20 architecture firms in worldwide comparison
In the World Architecture 100 Ranking 2024 ("WA100"), HPP has once again gained places compared to the previous year and has risen from 20th place among all participating architecture firms worldwide to 18th place. Once again, HPP is among the top 20 architecture firms worldwide.
+grün Landschafsarchitektur becomes part of HPP
HPP Architekten incorporated the landscape architecture firm +grün into the company structure from 1 January 2024. Against the backdrop of the ecological challenges of climate change, this step marks a conscious decision to collaborate more closely between architecture and landscape design.
Changes in the HPP management
As the first woman in the company's history, business administration graduate Claudia Berger-Koch has been responsible for the management of HPP Architekten GmbH together with architect Burkhard Junker since 1 January 2024.
Xujiahui Sports Park wins the 2023 AMP Award!
Renovated and designed by HPP, the Shanghai Xujiahui Sports Park was honored as one of the distinguished winners in the Landscape Architecture - Urban Design category of the 2023 Architecture MasterPrize.
