LEON 11: Honoured with the Iconic Award 2024
HPP has been commissioned by PAMERA to develop the 'LEON 11' project in Munich by 2025 - an inner-city conversion of a former 1980s hotel into a modern residential building with 37 apartments. The project was recently awarded the Iconic Award 2024 in the 'Innovative Architecture Residential Building' category by the German Design Council.
Red Dot Design Award for "Re/View the Next"
Last year, the HPP exhibition "Re/View the Next: A Discursive Collage on Aims, Challenges and Innovations" was presented for six weeks at the Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin. The walk-in, expansive collage, which showed a cross-section of HPP's architectural spectrum, has now been honored with the Red Dot Design Award!
Residential quarter at Zollhafen Mainz nearing completion
The residential quarter at Zollhafen Mainz gives a new meaning to ‘living by the water’: it is surrounded by water and embedded in the urban ambience of the harbour island at Zollhafen. Even though some remaining work on the outdoor facilities is still outstanding, the project is nearing completion.
Construction progress Soccer Arena of Huanghe Sports Centre, Jinan
The construction site of the project ‘Soccer Arena of Huanghe Sports Centre’ in Jinan is making rapid progress. Together with our project partner BIAD, we are delighted to have reached a very special milestone: the first lifting of the stadium's steel roof structure marks that the stadium has officially entered the roof steel structure constructionstage.
Second prize in the competition for the climate-friendly refurbishment of the listed main building at RWTH Aachen University
The main building of RWTH Aachen University, originally built in the late 19th century, forms the centrepiece of the campus. It survived both world wars with only minor damage and is a symbol of the unbroken academic spirit of the university city.

First prize for „Middenzaal“, Theater aan het Vrijthof Maastricht
In the coming years, one of the most important venues in the city of Maastricht will be transformed: the renowned Theatre aan het Vrijthof will be expanded with a new central hall. The realisation of the design of HPP Architects, which won first prize in an European competition, is a long-awaited wish for the city and the theatre.
